New Soccer Mom in Town

Simba starts soccer season next Wednesdays and is so excited. I’m not sure I am ready to be a soccer mom but I know it will be quite entertaining to watch. I all ready had the van, now I have the player, I am set.

Daycare and the dramas

Simba and Thembi started daycare this past week and oh the many dramas that come from it.

Simba is having a hard time and refuses to go on a daily basis. He states that he will miss mommy to much and needs to stay home. Yeah I know ripp my heart out. Simba is having a hard time as he is unsure about this new arrangement.

Thembi tries everything to aviod eye cantact with anyone, out of sight out of mind. Thembi is getting a little better and is not crying all day long. Just most of the day.

As for mommy she is taking it one day at a time. I wish I was in a situation where I could be home with my boys, but I can't. There are mornings that I cry on the way to work.

Christmas is over!!!!

Christmas is filled with lost of stress, but oh so many joys. Thembi was up at 5:30am and would not go back to sleep. Shortly after that Simba woke up and wanted to watch his show. We watch TV until Grandma and Grandpa got up and then we all showered to read the Christmas Story and sing a few songs before we went to see if Santa came.
Santa did come, however Simba believes that everything is his. Poor Thembi has not been able to play with many of his toys as Simba is almost positive that Santa gave it to him.
Every morning when Simba wakes up he asks if Santa came; he would like Santa to come every day.
As for me I got my "Christmas Shoes" from Simba so I will be pretty when I see Jesus. If you don't understand then listen to the song.
What a fun filled Christmas and mommy is sooooo very happy it is over.

Update on the Zvenyika Family

A family update:
Simba is so excited for Christmas he can hardly stand it. Of course he wants everything he sees and thinks that Santa is going to bring it all. He does not quite have the giving part down. We were at Toys R Us shopping for his cousin and of course he thought we were shopping for him. He was really upset when we left the store without anything for him. We will have to work on that.
Thembi is growing up so fast. Of course his first word was "grandpa." Well his version of grandpa. Thembi just loves his older brother and tries to copy his every move.
I will really try and update the blog on a weekly basis from now on. I am still getting use to the blogging world.

Disneyland

The boys and I are getting ready to go to Disneyland. Simba keeps asking every time we get into the care if we are going to Disneyland yet. I did make him a calender, but that hasn't helped. This morning Simba was up at 4:30am and would not go back to sleep because he thought today was the day we were going to Disneyland. Let me tell you when he found out that we were going to work he had a little melt down, OK a big melt down. Of coarse TJ is clueless, it should be interesting how he does on the airplane, he hates riding in the car. Anyway I will report back when we get back and post all of are cute pictures.

Side note I think next time we're going somewhere I'm going to tell them the day of.

TJ rolled over

TJ rolled over for the first time on Monday. Simba also had to show everone that he could also roll over and made everyone clap for him. TJ loves to laugh at Simba and let me tell you Simba enjoys the attention. I will keep everyone posted on the upcoming events for both Simba and TJ.
